I’m Hope, a bridal and formal wear seamstress with a particular love for garment alterations and helping clients look and feel their very best on life’s most special occasions.
I graduated from Arts University Bournemouth in 2018, completing their highly regarded Costume Design course, and bring over 14 years of sewing experience to my work.
In recent years, I have fallen in love with the world of wedding garment alterations, combining technical skill, creativity, and genuine passion to help bring each bride’s vision to life.
Clients can expect professional bridal and formal wear alterations, gown re-styling, custom made accessories such as veils and bespoke sleeves, as well as the all important dress steaming to finish the look!
my approach
Weddings are a beautiful and exciting time, filled with joy and meaningful moments. It’s a privilege to be part of this journey, and I hope to create a calm, welcoming space where brides feel at ease throughout their alterations experience.
My goal is for every client to feel heard, confident, and truly gorgeous in garments that fit beautifully.
main focus
During peak seasons (April to September) I focus mainly on bridal alterations due to the high demand. As a result, I tend to have more availability for non-bridal work outside of this period.
